What a week at Taos Ski Valley!

From spotting chile ristras hanging near Lift 1 to wrapping up ski school week with the legendary Martini Tree tradition—started by resort founder Ernie Blake—this trip was pure Taos magic.

And let’s not forget the spectacular evening hosted in a beautiful private home… a one-of-a-kind experience and a true benefit of traveling with Los Amigos.

Banff 2026: Powder, Olympics & Championship Spirit

Eleven Amigos/as participated in the TSC 2026 Winter Shootout. The destination was the Canadian Rockies--Banff, Lake Louse, Mt. Norquay with better snow conditions for skiing. The apres activities from the Welcome/Super Bowl watch party, to a cozy club pizza party, to a fun dinner with games, DJ and dancing at Melissa's Misteak.

Sun Valley 2026-Club Trip

Ski. Soak. Sparkle. Sun Valley’s 90th in Style

Twenty-six Amigos/as had a memorable week at Sun Valley, the first ski resort in the U.S., celebrating it's 90th season! 
We skied.
We relaxed in the best heated pool.
We glammed up in furs, pearls and and black ties.
We played Trivia, enjoyed home cooked and fine dining meals, and were in constant awe of the natural beauty that surrounded us whether on the mountain or strolling Ketchum Main Street for souvenirs and Gold Mine finds.


Los Amigos Ski Travel and Social Club (LASTC), an affiliate of the Texas Ski Council (TSC) and the National Ski Council Federation (NSCF), is the friendliest ski club in South Central Texas for over 50 years Our club boasts a diverse membership, including individuals, couples, and families. What bonds us is our appreciation of time in the company of others who enjoy similar activites-from snow sports, to beaches and divings, river cruises, and interest groups (cycling, hiking, dinner, brunch, trivia nights, craft beers and wine).

Los Amigos Ski Travel and Social Club is a 501 (c) 7 organization governed and managed by a volunteer board.
