We'll hike the Painted Bunting Trail (2.86 mile) to the 0.3 mile River Overlook.
State Park entrance fee: $7/adult
Texas State Park Annual Pass $70.
For those eligible, the Texas Parklands Passport Free
OPTIONAL: After hiking, we will stop to enjoy a snack/lunch along the Guadalupe River. You can store your edibles in an ice chest since we can drive the short distance from the trailhead to the river bank.
