About this event

           Purgatory Resort



Los Amigos heads to Purgatory Resort for the first time—nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains and known for its laid-back vibe, scenic terrain, and fun après-ski scene. This short-week, ground-only trip is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to customize your experience with optional add-ons like snowshoeing, a mountain ambassador tour, snowcat skiing, daily breakfast, and airport shuttle service.

Purgatory is an independent resort offering reasonably priced lift tickets—and a fun bonus: “Fun Funds” that give you extra spending money on the mountain. Even better, those 75+ ski FREE (no Fun Funds included—but hey, you’re already winning!).

Ground Package $728 (Purgatory Village)* or $787 (Purgatory Lodge)

The short-week package includes:

  • 5 nights at a ski-in/ski-out Purgatory Resort property
  • Chartered group shuttle to historic Durango (25 miles south) for an afternoon of strolling, breweries, shopping, and an awesome club party
  • Pre-trip and destination party

Not Included:

Trip Leader Jovita Lopez Smith is excited to lead her first Los Amigos ski trip. After a two-decade hiatus from the slopes, she rediscovered her passion for skiing and joined the club in 2024 for the Beaver Creek trip. Since then, Jovita has embraced the Los Amigos spirit, skiing with fellow members at Crested Butte, Sun Valley, and Taos over the past two seasons.

Beyond the slopes, she’s gotten to know many members through interest group activities like hiking, cycling, brunch, and dinner gatherings. Jovita enjoys baking, so don’t be surprised if she brings along her famous buffalo chocolate chip cookies or blueberry lemon muffins to share. She looks forward to creating a fun, welcoming, and memorable Purgatory adventure for all.

(Tipping is an appropriate and appreciated gesture if you want to thank your guide.)

$600-700 per person for snowcat skiing (includes: lift ride to the snowcat, a full day of skiing/boarding, lunch (powder ski or snowboard rental and avalanche beacon)

This is a Ground Only trip package.
Prices are subject to change. 2026-2027 lift tickets/shuttle/add-on options are based on 2025-26 season.
Prices are per person double occupancy. Los Amigos will make every effort to pair up singles with another single. However, in the event that another single is not available by Nov. 22, 2026, singles will have the option to pay the single supplement price or cancel. The Los Amigos Cancellation and Trip Policies will determine the refund due.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation is per the LOS AMIGOS CANCELLATION AND TRIP POLICIES, paragraph 4.
