Amigos,
We are less than five weeks away from our Annual Meeting. The agenda will include election of officers for the 2026–2027 Board of Directors and voting on proposed bylaw changes.
While the slate for the 2026–2027 Board is nearly complete, we welcome self-nominations for any position. The only remaining opening is Vice President of Communications. Duties for all positions are outlined in the club bylaws (link to current bylaws).
Members interested in serving on the Board should email Brian Goebel no later than February 22.
Proposed Bylaws Change
The Vice President of Communications leads the club’s communication strategy and execution across digital, email, print, and social media, and website platforms. This role ensures that members and prospective members are informed, engaged, and connected.
The VP of Communications is the steward of the club’s brand—responsible for ensuring a consistent, positive image across all platforms. As part of this responsibility, the VP owns the club’s social media presence and serves as the Administrator of the club’s Facebook page.
In addition to communications, the VP also manages and supports the club’s growing portfolio of member-led interest groups and the website.
