Q: Will these rides be difficult and tiring? Can I still do these rides if I am not in excellent shape?

A: Electric assist (E-Bikes) bikes have dramatically changed the experience of bike tours.
You do not have to be a cyclist or in tip top shape. Pedaling on a bike becomes effortless. 30 to 40 mile rides are fun. Hills become easy, you’ll laugh at climbs that make others sweat. These bikes make tours like this accessible to anyone who is in fair or better physical shape. The bikes take the physical out of fitness. You’ll wake up every day ready for the next ride. Plus, these rides are fully SAGed, which means that at any time if you are ready to stop, there will be a van to take you the rest of the way.

Of course, if you want the full physical experience of these multi day bike rides and want to experience every climb and every mile, then riding a normal road bike is for you.

Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling Tours

Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling is the premier cycling tour operators in Santa Barbara County.
Operating out of the picturesque town of Solvang, California, they have been running cycling tours
through out California, since 2005, when they were founded by Corey Evans.
Corey and his team have garnered a 5 Star rating on Trip Advisor with over 100 reviews.

Corey began with a full service bike shop in Solvang. He started started running bike tours in the wine country
to combine his passion of cycling with his love for culinary experiences and wine.
Given the
abundant number of vineyards in California, he is truly in the right place.

Members of Los Amigos rode from Monterrey, California to Solvang, along Big Sur with
Corey and his team four years ago. In their
experience, Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling
was  a first class operation and could not recommend them enough.

“It was an incredibly delightful 5 day bike ride, made all the better by the attention of Corey to every detail."

Two years ago, Los Amigos ran a bike trip with SBWCCT from Solvang up to Paso Robles.
The rides in Paso Robles were incredible. We expect this trip to be even better.

Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling Tours recently updated their bicycle fleet,
ensuring that all their bikes are first
rate and in excellent condition.
