A POPULAR DESTINATION OF LOS AMIGOS

 

Once called the Big Mountain in northwestern Montana, Whitefish Mountain Resort offers
spectacular views of Glacier National Park and Flathead National Forest. 

TERRAIN 

 

On average Whitefish has 62 annual snowfall days.
The average snow depth at Whitefish Mountain Resort is 53",  
With an annual snowfall of 333 inches and 3,000 acres of skier and rider accessible
terrain, Whitefish Mountain Resort offers access to 105 named trails and vast bowl and
tree skiing.  All these are serviced by 11 lifts, 2 T-bars and 1 magic carpet.
The longest run is Hellfire at 3.3 miles.

With a terrain rating of 12% beginner, 38% intermediate, 44% advanced and 6% expert.
Whitefish can accommodate skiers and riders of all levels and abilities. 

Four terrains parks and a skier/boarder cross course entertain the freestylers in
any group.  Near the Base Lodge is Magic Park designed for beginners.  The
Central Avenue Park & Railyard off Chair 3 has three to five jumps and a rail line
with medium-sized features.

Accommodations:
We'll be staying at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake in their condos.  
The Lodge is close to town so we won't be lacking excitement.

Meals:
Welcome Party, mid-week condo party meals are included.

ACTIVITIES FOR NON-SKIERS AND ADVENTURER SEEKERS 

Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing
There is no better way to get out and see the area in the winter than to strap on a pair
of cross-country skis or snowshoes and hit the trails!

Winter Fat Tire Biking
If you know how to ride a bicycle, you can ride a Fat Tire Bike!  Experience the winter
wonderland on two wheels and take advantage of all the groomed trails.  Fat Tire Biking
is becoming a popular winter activity for people who want to extend their cycling season!

Shopping
Downtown is not far from the lodge! 
If it’s too cold outside, complimentary shuttle service is available. 
Enjoy food, shopping and the nightlife just blocks from the lodge.

Enjoy the Arts
Downtown Whitefish offers many different activities to please your inner artist. 
Between the multiple theaters including Alpine Theatre Project and Whitefish
Theatre Company, to other different activities offered through Stumptown Art
Studio, there are endless options for your creative side!


Sledding
You do not need to go far to find a sledding hill!!! 
There are many options in the area as far as sledding hills go. 
Grab a sled, tube, or toboggan and hit the hills.

Snowmobiling
Adventure awaits you for this thrilling experience! 
Snowmobiling in Western Montana and Glacier National Park is a snowmobiler's heaven
between all the groomed trails and beautiful scenery!

Spa Day
Make your getaway extra relaxing by treating yourself to a wellness / spa day in Whitefish!
