Following the just-completed (virtual) Bid Meeting, the Texas Ski

The skinny: We're doing a wine tasting post trip extension to Sonoma. Also
working on a shorter ski trip leg so we can have a longer wine tasting leg.

About Los Amigos:

Los Amigos Ski and Travel Club (LASTC) has been the premier Ski Club in South Texas for over 40 years and part of the Texas Ski Council (TSC). Our members include skiers and snowboarders of all abilities and non-skiers who love travel and adventure. We are made up of couples, singles and families with children and grandchildren. What bonds us together is our desire to travel and enjoy life to the fullest. Along with skiing, we organize dive trips, international trips, beach trips and numerous social events in San Antonio.

We are a non-profit organization, and our club is run entirely by volunteers.

WHY JOIN?

•TO SKI.  Our membership includes skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. We have traveled all over the world looking for the best snow and have left our ‘Tiger Tails’ at almost all the major resorts in North America and Europe. We offer multiple trips each year for you to improve your techniques, ski with someone of similar ability or challenge yourself by skiing with an expert.

•TO TRAVEL.  Los Amigos organizes non-skiing trips to global destinations and offer non-skiers sightseeing opportunities on our ski trips. Our destinations range from the exotic locations such as Egypt and the Galapagos to the must-see places like Spain and Italy. You’ll be making memories with friends instead of strangers.

•TO LAUGH.  Los Amigos is a friendly club. We host monthly happy hours, local and regional outings and social events as well as holiday parties.

•TO LIVE AND TO LOVE.  Los Amigos has been in existence for over 40 years and some charter members are still active. Current membership stands at 230 and include singles, couples, family and military members. The common bond has always been our collective love of skiing, travel and life. Members evolve from acquaintances to life-long friends.

Happy Hours are held the first Tuesday of the month, 5 - 8 PM. Locations vary

There has been some interest expressed by a few members for LASC to join other clubs in the TSC as they go to New Zealand as the TSC Fall Expedition next October.
IF you have interest please contact the VP of Trip ASAP.
If we can get 10-12 we will look at putting a trip together.
