On average Copper Mountain has 74 annual snowfall days. The average snow depth at Copper Mountain Ski Resort is 53", With an annual snowfall of 248 inches and 2,527 acres of skier and rider accessible terrain, Copper Mountain Ski Resort offers access to 105 named trails and vast bowl and tree skiing. All these are serviced by 24 lifts, 1 Gondolas/Trams, 2 High Speed Sixes, 4 High Speed Quads, 4 Triple Chairs, 4 Double Chairs and 9 Surface Lifts. The longest run is Collage with 1.7 miles of downhill excitement. With a terrain rating of 25% beginner, 24% intermediate, 34% advanced and 17% expert. Copper Mountain can accommodate skiers and riders of all levels and abilities.
ACTIVITIES FOR NON-SKIERS AND ADVENTURER SEEKERS
Cross-Country Skiing Copper Mountain offer over 20km (12 miles) of cross-county skiing trails that are completely FREE to enjoy! Located around the golf course and West Village ranging from easy to difficult. To access the cross-country trails, head over to West Village and you can hop on to the West Tenmile trail providing additional access to other trails in the area. Winter Fat Tire Biking If you know how to ride a bicycle, you can ride a Fat Tire Bike! Experience the winter wonderland on two wheels and take advantage of all the groomed trails. Fat Tire Biking is becoming a popular winter activity for people who want to extend their cycling season! Snowmobiling What a way to experience the opportunity to climb to the Continental Divide an witness the stunning views of Colorado's highest 14,000-foot peaks. For those wanting the backcountry experience at their own pace, you can experience the bowls and meadows chock full of light, dry powder that Colorado is famous for. Snowmobiling in Colorado is a snowmobiler's heaven between all the groomed trails and beautiful scenery!
Rocky Mountain Coaster Make your getaway extra special by experiencing the Rocky Mountain Coaster at Copper Mountain, the 2nd longest alpine coaster in North America! This alpine coaster will take you cruising through the forest year-round. Located near the American Flyer ski lift. 11am-5pm Monday-Thursday | 10am-7pm Friday-Saturday | 10am-5pm Sunday Ice Skating Enjoy some time on the ice by the West Lake. Have some fun and excitement on the ice and make use of the broomball equipment or hockey nets which are available for free! Skates available from City Pops for rental. The pond will be open from 10am-9pm daily, weather permitting.. Tubing Hill Have some fun as you slide, spin, and experience a whole new way to play in the snow. Whether you hit the slopes before, during, or even after your day on the slopes, the course ups the tubing game with banked turns and makes it nearly impossible to not beam with joy as you slide your way down. Green Acres Play and Sledding Zone You don't need to go far to find a sledding hill!!! There are many options in the area as far as sledding hills go. Grab a sled, tube, or toboggan and hit the hills. Also, new at Copper Mountain for fun and entertainment in the snow is the Green Acres Snow Play and Sledding Zone. Access it from the bridge opposite the Woodward Barn bus stop (serviced by the Village Loop). Opens at 9am and closes at sunset.
