Texas Ski Council Summer Expedition to the Islands of New England second departure date: Jun 19, 2026.
Register by January 19, 2026 to take advantage of the $200 savings. Members who register for the trip will travel with the Austin Ski Club.

We‘ll take advantage of their popular Happy Hour featuring 8 menu items and 8-ounce wine pours for just $8 each. Stay for live music from 7–10 PM as a solo saxophone artist sets the perfect backdrop for great conversation and new friendships. Walk-On’s Sport Bistreaux brings a welcoming, home-like atmosphere to San Antonio. Combining Louisiana inspired service with attention to detail and culinary expertise, their restaurant and bar make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. They take pride in preparing everything from scratch offering fresh seafood, burgers, salads, Cajun and Creole dishes, plus a wide selection of cocktails and beer. Join us at Outlaw Kitchens for dinner with optional wine pairings served in a converted bungalow on July 17th at 6:00pm. A unique menu is created weekly by CIA trained chef Paul Sartory. Many of the dishes are sourced from the onsite garden. Vegetarian options are available. Dinners are served ala carte or as a 3-course prix fixe. Prices are $40 to $60. Bidfest is where our club joins other Texas Ski Council affiliated clubs to select the the destinations for the 2027 expeditions and 2028 ski trips. It‘s a great opportunity to meet tour operators, TSC officers, and the leadership and members of other clubs.

Start your fall weekend with a leisurely drive to Schulenburg as we cruise scenic Texas backroads to explore three of the region’s famous Painted Churches. Built by German, Czech, Austrian, and Swiss immigrants in the 19th and early 20th centuries, these unassuming country churches reveal breathtaking interiors filled with hand-painted murals, ornate altars, and remarkable artisan craftsmanship. It’s a beautiful glimpse into the faith, culture, and small-town communities that helped shape Texas. After our self-guided church tour, we’ll unwind at Majek Vineyard & Winery for tastings and lunch surrounded by vineyard views and Texas hospitality.

November 25-29 2026 The Texas Ski Council Youth Foundation Thanksgiving Ski Trip brings families together to introduce children and grandchildren to the joy of outdoor winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. By creating shared experiences on the mountain, the program helps inspire and cultivate the next generation of lifelong enthusiasts who will sustain and grow our clubs. Registration opens in the summer.

Annual Holiday Dinner & Dance
5:30-11:30 pm
The club‘s annual party will be held at the Deco Ballroom located in the historic Woodlawn Theater Center built in 1947. Members and their guests will have the opportunity to enjoy an elegant evening. Registration will open 19 August 2026.
