The Los Amigos Ski, Travel and Social Club team, chaired by Sandra Torres Lynum, is raising awareness for Alzheimer‘s and raising funds for research and caregiver programs that benefit our local community.
Our post walk meetup will be La Panaderia directly across from the Six Flags Fiesta Texas parking lot. Don‘t need to be a walker to join the team.
You will register for the walk and/or make a donation on the Alzheimer‘s website.

Autumn Flavors: Wine & Dinner
Join our foodie outing this fall at one of San Antonio‘s most beloved Italian restaurants. The Blanco Rd. restaurant opened recently and is awaiting its TABC license. BYOB is allowed.
The restaurant does not accept reservations and a party larger than 6 will incur a 20% gratuity.
RSVPs closed 10/16/24, but in light of the change, members are welcomed to come given there is no group reservation.
Loop 1604 Trailhead on the Salado Creek Greenway
Wesley will be at the Salado Creek Greenway- Loop 1604 Trailhead at 9 am Sunday October 20, 2024 to start the bicycle ride.

This will be a casual ride for anyone in the club that brings their own bicycle. Feel free to ride along and turn around whenever you feel like it. This is an easy to follow paved hike/bike path without cars. Please RSVP so we know who to expect and include any family members in the comments that will attend.
The route will take us south past Hardberger Park then to Walker Ranch Park and maybe on toward McAllister Park depending on group pace. We may decide to stop for a coffee/ latte break!
Let‘s explore the hiking/walking trails at O.P. Schnabel Park, part of the city‘s park system for the past 60 years.
Meetup location will be sent to registrants via email the day prior to the hike.
Let‘s celebrate National American Beer Day and spend the crisp fall sampling a variety of crafted brews in the beer garden.
