Loop 1604 Trailhead on the Salado Creek Greenway
Wesley will be at the Salado Creek Greenway- Loop 1604 Trailhead at 9 am Sunday October 20, 2024 to start the bicycle ride.
Address : 3104 N Loop 1604 W, San Antonio, TX 78231
This will be a casual ride for anyone in the club that brings their own bicycle. Feel free to ride along and turn around whenever you feel like it. This is an easy to follow paved hike/bike path without cars. Please RSVP so we know who to expect and include any family members in the comments that will attend.
The route will take us south past Hardberger Park then to Walker Ranch Park and maybe on toward McAllister Park depending on group pace. We may decide to stop for a coffee/ latte break!
Let‘s explore the hiking/walking trails at O.P. Schnabel Park, part of the city‘s park system for the past 60 years.
Meetup location will be sent to registrants via email the day prior to the hike.
Let‘s celebrate National American Beer Day and spend the crisp fall sampling a variety of crafted brews in the beer garden.
Did you know that Helotes dates back to 1881 and was recognized in 1992 by the Texas Historical Commission with its first historical marker?
